Summer Program 2026: Plant a Seed, Read

Plant a Seed, Read is rooted in the concept of farm to table. A farm grows food that nourishes our bodies; a library grows ideas that nourish our minds.  Both food and stories connect us to our family, culture, economy and ecology. Join us every Friday in June for fun, games, and special programming.  Three of our Fridays will have guest performers and will include both age groups from 10 am-11 am. On Friday June 12th, be prepared to get wet playing fun water games!  Preschool through completed 1st grade will meet from 9:30-10:30. Kids who have completed 2nd- 6th grades will meet at 11:00-Noon.  Reading logs with incentives will be offered to all students.  Registration is required and will begin May 11th and end June 3rd.  You may register online or in-person at the library.  More information will be sent home via the local elementary school.
